"I had originally assumed my cardio shape was sufficient since I work out regularly and attend several spin classes a week. However, I was struggling to make a transition to longer distance running on my own. Anytime I made progress, I would be hit with shin splints, likely from overtraining. After contacting Cris, she put together an extensive plan based on my current abilities and future goals. The change was remarkable. In a short time, I had broken my mileage plateau and best of all, no shin splints! She also has managed to overcome the monotony of most training programs. She was able to incorporate my spin classes for cross training with the perfect combo of long runs, sprints and hills. I just completed my first race and even beat the target time Cris and I had collectively set. It's been incredible to see how far I have come after just a month of working with Cris. I can't wait to see what I am capable of in the future with Cris as my coach!"
